Day 40: We're going to Iowa, yeah Iowa

Remember that interview that I was supposed to be going out of town to do a couple of weeks ago? No, really, you don't remember that? Huh, I figured you would have been paying better attention to me by now. Well, it has been re-scheduled for this Saturday around 12:30pm. We are going to be interviewing someone who is a pretty big deal in the world of gaming (video gaming that is). I am not at liberty to discuss it as of right now, but once I am I will let you know more about it.

You see, I am on a couple of podcasts right now. One is a show on my own website (Well, a website that my friends and I host) called Detroit Groudy Radio. It is more of a comedy show, so it usually has a wide range of different topics. The other show I do though is for the website, www.twingalaxies.com. It is the home to video game world records and the video game hall of fame. Naturally, this show is more streamlined and is obviously only about one topic. The interview that we are going to Iowa to shoot is for the Twin Galaxies Podcast. They are both video podcast's, so if you really want to see me you can download the shows. I will post the links at the bottom of this post.

We leave tomorrow afternoon for Iowa and we will be coming home very early Sunday morning. We are really hoping for big things with this interview and have even higher hopes for the show in general. I would like nothing more than to be able to do stuff like this for a living and never have to work my regular nine to five job ever again. The goal is to be self employed and completely self sustaining in five years. If that means moving away from Michigan, then so be it. I am willing to do whatever it takes to move ahead. Like I have mentioned so many times before, I turn thirty next year and I would really love to have my life on the right track a year from now.
