I love making the titles seem so overly dramatic as to assume that something grand is going on. In reality though, I am just on a diet. Though I really dislike that word so I am going to say, I am starting a new eating regimen. I am actually in the middle of my second week and so far it is going quite well. All I have done really is to not drink pop or beer and I have cut out fast food completely. Even a month ago this would have sounded really difficult, but I think I just got to the point where I knew I had to change something. I am at my heaviest weight ever and I am just sick of being so fat.
My new eating regimen is very simple actually. I eat an apple in the morning (I've actually been doing this one for years), I eat a peanut butter sandwich and a small cup of soup for lunch and then I eat a small bowl of canned vegetables and a bowl of soup for dinner. There are so many different options for soup out there that it has not yet become boring. I will start to eat other things next week, but I figured it is always nice to get your body back into a normal schedule before you go and do something drastic. By drastic I just mean exercising, I'm not getting my stomach stapled or anything like that.
My goal is to lose twenty pounds by mid April and forty pounds by August. If I am able to stick to the plan and start exercising, this goal should not be a difficult one to attain. The hard part is when I finally do reach my goal, actually keeping the weight off for good. I am very positive about my chances for completing this task, as I have done this same thing numerous times. I will periodically post something on this, but for now, will leave it alone.
Sorry for the late post, will try harder next time.
